The main goal is to provide meaningful play experiences for all, including individuals who cannot transfer out of a wheelchair or similar mobility device <\/strong>(Straton-Chapman &amp; Schmidt, 2019)**.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Things to keep in mind<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li class=\"standard-text\"> <em style=\"font-size: inherit;\">Bring people together<\/em><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\"> &#8211; Involve the community in the building process and ask kids to help with the design<\/span> <\/li><li class=\"standard-text\"> <em style=\"font-size: inherit;\">Foster independence <\/em><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">&#8211; Create opportunities for individuals with disabilities to play without support<\/span> <\/li><li class=\"standard-text\"> <em style=\"font-size: inherit;\">Keep kids active and together &#8211; <\/em><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">Invest in equipment that encourages socialization and sustained physical activity for all<\/span> <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<br><br><br>\n<p class=\"standard-text\">**Stanton-Chapman L., &amp; Schmidt, E.
