- Coordinate daily operations of unit including serving as lead for student employees at the Research Help Desk
- Hire and train student assistants at RHD
- Monitor expenditures and project budgetary needs of student assistants
- Conduct student assistant evaluations
- Schedule RHD with students, staff, and librarians
- Staff RHD and/or provide general and specialized reference assistance to students, faculty, staff, and community patrons in person, over the phone, or online.
