Bio

Toni Olivas received her B.A. in Education from Arizona State University West.  She went on to become a Spectrum Scholar and earned her M.A. in Information Resources & Library Science at the University of Arizona in 2003 where she was part of the first cohort of Knowledge River scholars.  In 2014, Toni earned her doctorate from the Joint Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership at CSU San Marcos/UC San Diego.  She has worked in both public and academic libraries since 1994, and her library experience includes Glendale Public Library, University of Michigan, and Auburn University.  Toni joined CSUSM’s Kellogg Library as the first Education Librarian in 2006.
