Leave Your Mark 2013

The Library hosted a booth at the 4th Annual Leave Your Mark event. It was so much fun! I was there along with Melanie Chu (Outreach Librarian) and Carmen Mitchell (Institutional Repository Librarian) to promote the library during Welcome Week. We hosted a raffle for our Common Read book, “This I Believe”, and also some library mugs. Students had to answer questions in our “What’s the What??” game, and they had to — *gasp* — speak with a real life librarian! Each of the librarians in the Information Literacy Program had “trading cards” which we handed out to students and staff. I think you can see that we are people who are serious about libraries but who don’t take ourselves too seriously. 😀

I’m The Stitcher! Didn’t get a trading card? Stop by my office — I’ve got extras.
